TERMS AND CONDITIONS

               DHL REWARDs Programme (“this Programme”)

                             Terms and Conditions


1. This Programme commences from 18 June 2019 and shall continue till 31 December 2021 (both dates inclusive).


2. This Programme is only open and applicable to cash customers (“Customers”) of DHL Express (Hong Kong) Limited (“DHL”) who purchase DHL products at DHL ServicePoints. Customers must register through DHL’s designated webpage within 60 days after such purchase in order to join this Programme. 3. Membership Structure, Earning and Redemption Rate and Validity Period of Rewarding Points

4. Customers can earn Rewarding Points for purchasing any Eligible DHL Products.


5. Rewarding Points can be redeemed by Customers when Customers [next] purchase Redeemable DHL Products at
DHL’s ServicePoints.


6. “Eligible DHL Products” include the following international express service products of DHL only:-
(a) DHL Express Worldwide;
(b) DHL Express 9:00;
(c) DHL Express 10:30;
(d) DHL Express 12:00;
(e) DHL Express Easy;
(f) Surcharges on shipment by items (a) to (e) above; and
(g) Value-added Service on shipment by items (a) to (e) above.


7. “Redeemable DHL Products” include the following international express service products of DHL only:-
(a) DHL Express Worldwide;
(b) DHL Express 9:00;
(c) DHL Express 10:30;
(d) DHL Express 12:00; and
(e) DHL Express Easy.

 

8. Rewarding Points can also be earned for purchase of Eligible DHL Products that are under other DHL promotion campaigns.


9. In case of refund of any shipment charges for whatever reason, any Rewarding Points earned will be deducted from the Customer’s account under this Programme correspondingly.


10. Purchase of Eligible DHL Products by DHL staff at Staff Shipment Rates are not eligible for earning Rewarding Points.


11. Rewarding Points cannot be redeemed concurrently with offers under other DHL promotion campaign.


12. Rewarding Points cannot be redeemed for payment / settlement of surcharges and value-added services for any Redeemable DHL Products.


13. Rewarding Points cannot be redeemed in case of any shipment(s) weighting over 30kg.


14. No amendment to or cancellation of redemption of Rewarding Points will be accepted upon submission of application for redemption.


15. DHL shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by any Customer or other person arising out of or in relation to any unsuccessful application for redemption of Rewarding Points or any Customer’s inability or failure to earn or redeem any Rewarding Points, for any reason and in any circumstances.


16. All Rewarding Points cannot be sold or transferred in any way and are not redeemable for cash. Rewarding Points can only be used for redemption in accordance with these Terms and Condition and not for any other purposes.


17. All Rewarding Points are redeemable within their validity period. All unredeemed Rewarding Points will be forfeited forthwith by DHL without prior notice upon the earliest of (i) expiry of the Rewarding Points; (ii) termination of this Programme by DHL; or (iii) termination of membership account under this Programme by DHL [or by Customers], for whatever reason.


18. All information and records in relation to this Programme will be stored in DHL’s system and database.

 

19. In the event that the Customer has not made any transaction with DHL for 24 months, the Customer’s information and records in relation to this Programme kept by DHL will be erased. 

 

20. DHL reserves the right to terminate and/or cancel the registration and/or account of any Customer or any other person under this Programme at any time and at its absolute discretion if DHL is of the opinion that there is or is likely to be any fraud and/or abuse, misuse or non-compliance of any terms of this Programme by any Customer or any other person.


21. DHL reserves the right to alter any aspects of this Programme (including but not limited to these Terms and Conditions) and/or to terminate this Programme at any time without prior notice.


22. In case of any dispute in relation to any aspects of this Programme, DHL reserves the right of final decision and interpretation which shall be binding and conclusive.

24. If there is any change in a member’s personal information in his/her account, that member must update such personal information through DHL’s designated webpage in order to enjoy the benefits under this Programme. 


25. DHL’s Standard Terms and Conditions of Carriage shall apply to all the services and products provided by DHL (including but not limited to the Eligible DHL Products). For more information, please visit https://mydhl.express.dhl/hk/en/home.html


26. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.


27. No person other than the Customers and DHL will have any right to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of these terms and conditions under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap.623).


28. In case of any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
